Jordin Sparks defend JB ar the VMAs. Some people misunderstood Jordin's words thinking she was dissing the JBs but she was defending them:
The 18-year-old singer spoke out against host Russell Brand for joking about the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings. She told the crowd, ‘I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut.”

After 2008 MTV VMAs host Russell Brand took a shot at the Jonas Brothers for their purity rings, the teen sensation spoke to the BBC.
Nick Jonas said, “For us it’s cool to see that he recognizes we are gentleman.” Brand also apologized to the trio after the remarks after the event.
Kevin also added, “We had a lot of friends there and everybody’s so nice. We had a good time!”
Despite the verbal jabs, Nick showed class and complimented Brand on his hosting job saying, “I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O’Brien and thought he was hilarious.”
Paris Hilton and Jordin Sparks also spoke up for the band of brothers.
~Pop sensations THE JONAS BROTHERS are keen to team up with British girlband GIRLS ALOUD for their next U.S. tour. The trio have become fans of the Biology hitmakers and asked them to join them on a recent series of live dates acr oss America, but the plans were scrapped due to scheduling difficulties.But the group are still determined to take the five-piece on tour and hope they will soon be able to make their dreams a reality. Kevin Jonas says, “We’re huge fans of Girls Aloud. They are all really talented. ~THE JONAS BROTHERS are extending their talents to fashion - they are planning to design a clothing range. The pop trio are keen to bring o ut a collection - and middle sibling Joe Jonas admits the band loves keeping on top of the latest trends. He says, “A clothing line is definitely in our future plans.
